Educator Immersion Trip
Trip Dates: July 7 – 21, 2026
What if the most impactful contribution you bring into a classroom was not your expertise, but your presence, your curiosity, and your readiness to learn? The Educator Immersion Trip is a two-week journey specifically created for active educators who want to experience teaching and learning through the eyes of Ugandan educators. It’s an opportunity to explore your calling toward missional education, see how God is moving globally, deepen your understanding of how education functions differently in diverse socio-economic contexts, and gain a fresh perspective on how poverty impacts children’s futures beyond your own cultural experience.
You’ll spend intentional time reflecting, forming relationships, and honoring the ongoing work of local teachers. This trip is an invitation to discover a deeper, more nuanced understanding of global education as a relational journey that reshapes the way you view your role as an educator, and how you rely on the Lord in your calling.
Who Should Apply: We welcome active educators: teachers (all subjects and grade levels), paraprofessionals, special ed professionals, school counselors, coaches, or administrators, college professors and educational staff.
